Suriya Jothika - Nescafe Sunrise new ad

Suriya and Jyothika appointed brand ambassadors for Nescafe

Chennai, Mar 10 (PTI) Food major Nestle India today appointed Southern actor Suriya and wife, actress Jyothika, as brand ambassadors for their flagship Nescafe Sunrise brand in South zone.
"..We are honoured to have the royal couple of South India -- Actor Suriya and Jyothika...," Nestle India Chairman and Managing Director Antonio Helio Waszyk told reporters here.
Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone was brand ambassador for Nescafe Classic for the Northern region last year.
He said Nescafe, which saw a drop on its market shares over the last few years, witnessed "acceleration" on its growth from the second half of 2010.
On being appointed as the brand ambassador, Suriya said he was happy to be part of such a brand.
As part of the new initiative, Nestle India launched a new television commercial with the actors which would be released on television screens from March 12.
Nestle India has planned to make significant investments on new marketing activities, Waszyk said declining to reveal the financials.
Currently Nestle India retails various brands under the division -- milk products and nutrition, beverages, prepared dishes and cooking aids, chocolates and confectionery.

1000 Dancers for 7am Arivu Song!

It seems AR Murugadoss is all set to create new bench marks for film making in Kollywood with ‘7-am Arivu’. Apart from whatever leaked so far, there is another new one out now.

Apparently there is a song sequence in the film for which there will be 1000 dancers shaking their legs. This is going to be a mega dance track and Harris Jayaraj is said to have worked harder than usual for the dance music.

The grandeur that is going to be displayed by this song will be unforeseen in Tamil cinema and Suriya, AR Murugadoss and Harris Jayaraj can be proud of doing it. The last time we saw a magnificent dance in was in the 1948 epic film ‘Chandralekha’ directed by SS Vasan. Another classic in the making, we are sure.

The audio of ‘7-am Arivu’ is scheduled to be launched on March 28 and the film will hit the theatres in August.
