Surya was spotted in Chennai Pallavaram, shooting for his much expected thriller sci-fi movie 7aam Arivu climax scene. Directed by A. R. Murugadoss features Surya and Shruti Haasan in lead roles.
7aam Arivu climax scene has breath taking stunts and popular stunt master Peter Hein who has done stunt choreography for several films like Ghajini, Shivaji, Endhiran etc. was seen directing the stunts.
Surya was seen single handedly bashing up a group of goons as cinematographer Ravi.K.Chandran and director Murugadoss captured it. This shoot is to go on for five more days at the location. With Peter Hein doing the stunt choreography looks like 7am Arivu will have an action packed climax!
7aam Arivu is expected to release in April 2011. A Telugu version is also being released simultaneously, while a Hindi dubbing or remake is being considered.
Dual Role For Surya in Maatraan!
The ‘Ayan’ duo is at it again. Suriya has started his next project with K V Anand, titled ‘Maatraan’. Produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram’s AGS Entertainment, the film is expected to be an action entertainer.
‘Sometimes the end is just the beginning’ is the tagline of the film, which will have music by Harris Jayaraj and script by Subha, the two quintessential names in all films directed by Anand.
While Anand is currently busy with the release of ‘Ko’, a Udhayanidhi Stalin venture which has Jiiva in the lead, Suriya is shooting for ‘7am Arivu’, again a Red Giant production, directed by A R Murugadoss.
“The shoot of Maatran will start soon. Both Suriya and Anand are happy to work together again for they shared a great rapport in Ayan, one of the biggest blockbusters of 2009,” sources in the know say.
As per latest reports, Surya will be playing dual role in his upcoming movie Maatraan. Maatraan is to be directed by KV Anand and an official announcement regarding this project was made recently.
As per sources close to K.V Anand Surya’s dual role is that of a Siamese Twins, which means a pair of identical twins born with conjoined body parts. Now, that is going to be a whole new experience for Surya’s fans and challenging one for Surya and KV Anand.

Suriya has endeavoring with his earnest efforts through the challenging roles. And now, following the grand success of ‘Perazhagan’ and ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’, the actor is all set to perform dual role in his upcoming movie ‘Maatran’. Might be, this one may sound to be a normal factor, but is more off a difference. Guess what? Suriya plays the role of a Siamese twin, which means twins born with their body attached together. Well, K.V. Anand had mentioned that the film is based on the concept – ‘The End of Something is Beginning of Something’. The filmmaker has already started working on the script and will start shooting for the film once Suriya completes his present project ‘Ezham Arivu’. As of now, the technicians confirmed for the project are music director Harris Jayaraj and Editor Anthony. The official announcements on the film’s crew will be made shortly . . .
