7aam Arivu is a sci-fi medical thriller in which Surya is said to plays triple role as circus artist, Buddhist monk and a scientist. 7aam Arivu features Surya and Shruti Haasan in lead roles while Vietnamese stunt actor Johnny Tri Nguyen will play the villain role.

Suriya and Ajith @ war?

Ajith is awaiting the release of his film ‘Mankatha.’ Directed by Venket Prabhu this film is more special to the ‘Ultimate star’ because this is his 50th film! It looks like ‘Mankatha’ has been wrapped up. The team is busy carrying out the post-production work. Director Venkat Prabhu seems to have zeroed in on bringing the film to Ajith fans in July.
Now it looks like there will a battle between the Ajith and Suriya fans.
On the other side we have the Suriya-Murugadoss-Harris team working on ‘7am Arivu.’ This sci-fi thriller sees Suriya and Sruthi haasan teaming up for the first time. ‘7am Arivu’ too is in its post-production stage. The director has revealed that the special effects and the CG in this film will be on par with that of a Hollywood flick! Murugadoss plans to release this film in July as well.
We also hear that both the films might release on a same date. Wow a double treat for movie-buffs this July? Or will it be a clash between the two handsome and most-wanted heroes of the industry?

Maatraan to begin!

The first schedule of Surya's Maatran will begin in the second week of July. The unit will be shooting in and around Chennai and Surya's scenes will be filmed first. On its completion, KV Anand is considering shooting the second schedule in Russia where it is expected that Kajal Agarwal, the heroine will join the team.

Having spent the last few months perfecting the script, the Maatraan team is moving to the next phase - the actual filming itself. There is a lot of anticipation in the air as KV Anand and his leading man Surya are teaming up after their last successful outing Ayan.

Super Machine in 7am Arivu

Here are more interesting and never-revealed-before facts of Suriya’s 7am Arivu. is back with an exclusive update about the plot of the film.

According to the sources it is revealed that 7am Arivu revolves around a super machine which is brought by villain Vietnamese Johnny Tri Nguyen to India. When this super machine lands in India it starts troubling Suriya and Shruti Haasan. From here the suspense-filled journey starts and this will take the audiences to never ever seen visuals.

Udhayanidhi Stalin of Red Giant Movies is producing the film while AR Murugadoss headed the direction department. Harris Jayaraj has scored the music.

7aam Arivu villain is Johnny Tri Nguyen in Thailand ! ....

7aam Arivu directed by AR Murugadoss features Surya and Shruthi Haasan in lead roles. The movie is a Medical thriller and it will simultaneously release in Hindi and also in Telugu.

AR Murgadoss want 7aam Arivu stunt sequences like a Hollywood movie and hence he has chosen Vietnamese actor Johnny Tri Nguyen as the main villain in his 7aam Arivu. Johnny is a martial arts expert and was seen in films like Tom-Yum-Goong and Cradle 2 the Grave. He has also worked as a stunt double in Spider-Man 2.

Surya’s Maatraan Movie Shooting From June

Surya has completed the shooting of his AR Murgadoss directed 7aam Arivu. Surya will soon start the work on his next movie Maatraan directed by K.V Ananad. The duo has earlier given one of Kollywood’s Biggest Box office hits in it history through Ayan.

Maatraan is being produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram and Harris Jayaraj is scoring music for the fim. Maatraan Shooting is expected to start by 1st week of June. Also KV Anand is searching for the lead lady in the movie and hasn’t finalized any one yet. As per sources Tamanna, Tapasee, Kajal Agarwal and Deepika Padukone are in the race to pair with Surya. But it seems like Kajal Agarwal will pair up with Surya in Maatraan even though it is not officially confirmed yet

Suriya and Shruthi Haasan were seen at the shot. The film has a present day story mixed with a flashback episode. A major part of the film especially the action scenes were shot in Thailand.
